They have been waiting for more than 20 years for a job after registering with the employment office.The three per cent quota for providing employment to the differently abled has not been properly implemented. There are many vacancies in the government departments which need to be rightfully filled with differently abled persons.

I recommend the following for our specially-abled: - Create more awareness in society so that they are treated respectfully - Create world-class, government aided rehabilitation centres. - Create a trained work-force of “care-givers”. - Introduce appropriate pricing regulations for private rehab centers - Refrain from levying taxes & import duties on medical, rehab and mobility solutions.

Specially abled People are assets that have been never used till date in India. Reservations are a not the only solution.
