The digital space has witnessed major transformations in the last couple of years and as per industry experts would continue to evolve itself. The latest entrant to the digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as interplay for software, telecom and electronic hardware industry and promises to offer tremendous opportunities for many industries.

With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number of connected sensors soon will reach trillions, working with billions of intelligent systems involving in-numerous applications will drive new consumer and business behaviour. The demand for increasingly intelligent industry solutions based on IoT will drive trillions of dollars in opportunity for IT industry and even more for the companies that take advantage of the IoT.

One of the top most initiatives in the form of Digital India Program of the Government which aims at ‘transforming India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy’, is expected to provide the required impetus for development of the IoT industry ecosystem in the country.

Department of Electronics and Information Technology,(DeiTY) has come out with a draft IOT Policy document which focuses on following objectives:

i. To create an IoT industry in India of USD 15 billion by 2020. It has been assumed that India would have a share of 5-6% of global IoT industry.

ii. To undertake capacity development (Human & Technology) for IoT specific skill-sets for domestic and international markets.

iii. To undertake Research & development for all the assisting technologies.

iv. To develop IoT products specific to Indian needs in all possible domains.

The Policy framework of the IoT Policy has been proposed to be implemented via a multi-pillar approach. The approach comprises of five vertical pillars (Demonstration Centres, Capacity Building & Incubation, R&D and Innovation, Incentives and Engagements, Human Resource Development) and 2 horizontal supports (Standards & Governance structure).

Digital India cannot take off without uninterrupted supply of power and telecom services. While demand and supply gap is there...lot of it could be managed by proper resources allocation based on real data insights. Analytics could be used to understand the demand patterns, availability of resources, climate factors etc. For instance some areas have multiple 3G services while many have none. Some schools have excess teachers while lot have none.

Dear Sir, mostly black money is invested on gold or properties like houses/sites. So the best way to reduse black money is to digitalisation like 'Adhar based house/site registration' and every transaction on gold should be digitalised

sir, regarding to the clean india, I think that we have to use social networking sites, TV, radio and news paper in large scale because its easiest way to reach every people of india and we have bad habit that we forget any good initiative after some time so above medium might be become useful to remind us again n again that somehow we have to clean over india

Dear PM,Indians who are retired from military services they should be given job in police department directly.This will reduce your training cost and there would be more discipline.there wil lbe no corruption.as military men are well trained and discipline. Sir bring please this changes.Thank you

SIR I request you that please do something by that the rate of net pack lowers down.. by doing that we can able to serve Internet to the lower section of our society. Nowadays Internet rates are increasingly at a very fast rate. And please try to provide 3G connectivity to small towns so that they can also pe able to use Internet frequently.. and try to boost up the speed in rural areas also and try to provide better connectivity to rural areas. Hope you will do something good for us.

Part of Digital India Program, we must integrate all public facing Government services with ITILv3 Framework. A service model integrated with highly successful Tools like remedy, hpsm, etc. a framework where there is a timeline for each service and its deliverables. On a timeline miss at any point in time - a notification is sent to the next level responsible for completing the action. This can be backed by auditing teams, front line call centers, escalation managers & public facing reporting

Mr. Prime Minister I want to tell you that in our country thereis lots of potential in our youth they are able to do any thing in any field but what if u are having that much taloent and potential and you can not use it for the development of our Dream India.So create any portal where people of india can tell thier interest and the work in which they are master and create the list on ground level so that we people of India can contribute more and the potential and skills can be harvested.
