1. One should try to avoid transportation losses by special transport for food. Since this is not an easy task, I suggest that we should have a central location in every district where the food will first travel. This network can be first started on an experimental basis and if successful can be implemented.
2. We must find innovative ways to use rotten food products. For example, we can set up fertiliser plants where these can be used.
3. Certainly a better cold storage network is neede.

Fruits and vegetables are perishable in nature. Road connectivity and vehicles play a key role in transferring the produce from harvest areas to food processing industries.
Cold storage with state of the art infrastructure is to developed for storage of produce.
Farmers should be made as stakeholders in food processing units so as to incentivise and motivate.
Govt with road, train authorities has to sign MOUs so that speedy transportation of produce from harvest to processing units.

it is the fact that there was a lot of wastage of fruits and vegetable in our country. here i suggested two methods as
1.transferring method
connect a linkage to these supply chain to government owned institution like school(mid day meals),jails, old aged house etc.
2.Investment in food processing technology
It should be participation of local people, provision to "SELF HELP GROUP GROUPS'
i am a true village man.please implement above methods to achieve our inclusive growth

Develop Food Park in every state and manufacture Canned Foods from the excess harvest.
And export the same.
There is huge demand for it abroad.
A section of the excess harvest can be used to provide food to the less fortunates in areas of flood, drought around the world. Although it will not yield money, it will yield blessing for our motherland

Sir, 1.dedicated networked links should be available for small farmers to off load their produce at profit without middlemen 2.Newer varieties withstanding climatic variations should be researched 3.Availability of cold storage facilities should be increased 4. More private participation in cold chain should be encouraged in outlying areas, easy access for marginal farmers 5.Food processing included as vocational training in rural schools / women SHG's 6.Cottage industries encouraged via KVIB
