Pool in supply chain management experts from private companies to help out the government in moving these items to the masses. Give government subsidies for cold storage owners and people who can allocate their resources to help the government manage the supply chain. Give access to people who are interested in storing this produce on how to set it up. That way a person who owns a piece or property can startup a storing a logistical business to help the government and himself.

Facilitate creation of mega cold storage facilities jn Chattisgarh, where power is surplus and location is favorable. Chattisgarhnis in geographic centre of India and fruits and veggies from across the country can be brought and stored there. Provide free land and low cost power since power is in surplus anyway there, to private entrepreneurs.

Encourage free market pricing for cold storage facilities. Current practice in many states of limiting cold storage tariffs makes it unviable and also results in poor quality facilities coming up. Encourage professional distributon companies that can charge fair price for cold storages and build a nationwide network. Prices will not rise as these companies will eliminate large markups currently made by traders

It is really something that calls for serious deliberations at all levels that that the precious agricutural produce of our country gets decayed and allowed to go waste when millions of our countrymen need them the most. The worst part of this sad episode is the decaying of all-precious fruit and vegetables. While their not getting reached the market hurt the farmers financially, THE DECAYING ADDS TO THE MAL- NUTRIONAL LEVEL IN THE COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY THAT IN
