Remove all fruits and vegetables from the APMC list. Allow intra state transport of fruits and vegetables. Create a national mandi at Delhi. Allow private mandis at state to increase competition

1. Make transportation easy.
2. Make Better and more Canning Centres.
3. Allow discounts for veg/fruit transportation.
4. Make a Good Mobile Trading App for veg/fruit so farmers can buy sell things online.

3-PRONGED STRATEGY NEEDED. 1. FOCUS ON PRESERVATION & VALUE ADDITION TO FRUITS & VEGETABLES NEAREST TO RAW MATERIALS WHICH CAN GREATLY ENRICH FARMERS. 2. NEED TO DEVELOP EFFICIENT MACHINES THAT RUN ON BIO-POWER & SOLAR POWER FOR COLD STORAGE, PROCESSING & PACKAGING. 3. FAST & EFFICIENT TRANSPORT/MARKETING THAT BY-PASSES AGENTS & DIRECTLY CONNECT FARMERS & CONSUMERS. THIS ENSURES FARMERS GET GOOD PRICE & BUYERS PAY LESS. ALSO, GOODS REACH BUYERS IN 1-2 DAYS TIME & COLD STORAGE NOT REQUIRED.

A proper chain needs to be created. The chains can be set up by the Govt directly. Setting up the chains by Govt initiative would also give rise to employment opportunities. The Govt can later on set up the same under PPP model or privatise the same considering the future circumstances. Moreover, big business houses can also be encouraged to see the matter. Another option is to include the matter in CSR permitted activities under Schedule VII of companies Act.

The direct selling of agriculture products by farmers is an ineffective scheme, coz the farmer should be back working in his fields. Also if this scheme is involved he would have to install another set up for the selling of products. Middle-men being the major problem in the present methodology, the products should be bought by the state and sold at specified mandis distributed across the districts. Local vendors may purchase from these locations and hence forth.
Private storage may also be use
