Hi, We have carried out research to estimate tomato yield from aerial images of tomato farms captured from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The results are very encouraging. This research work in Aerial Agri Robotics is published in a science direct journal

We propose to take this work forward to develop Decision support system to help farmers in crop planning and normalize production to reduce wide price fluctuations

Youtube link is given for the field trial conducted at farmers field in Karnataka using Biochemical Bioactives. 3Kg of RuBisCO-ACT and 3kg of Photon MAX is used per acre land and the yield improvements were between 35% to 60% depending on the time of application. The Technology is developed in India and Technology is aimed at using less chemicals in agriculture to promote better soil health and Rhizosphere health, maximum carbon dioxide fixation, better plant heath, tolerance to pest n diesease

Water is an essential item for any farming. Integration of rivers across India can solve more than 70% of the problems. If north India has floods, South India has droughts. With integration of rivers, water can flow through areas even during seasons when there is no rain. This will help all our farmers. With urbanization going up rapidly, government should take measure in controlling lands getting grabbed for unnecessary buildings. This will also save water and encourage agriculture.

Smart farming needs focus on; 1) Precision Farming Methods; 2) Techniques like Rice Intensification; 3) High value crop focus and popularization (e.g. Herbs, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) with export linkages; 4) Irrigation solutions (e.g. drip); 5)Simultaneous farm credit and market linkage; 6) Farmer cooperative society for cold storage and logistics; 7) Mixed farming, crop rotation; 8) Farm produce processing by farmer's cooperatives managed by professionals and not babus.
