The grant provided by State Governments is insufficient. Therefore additional grant be provided by Central Government or all state universities be taken over by the center with more emphasis on P.G.teaching and research.Full autonomy be given including financial autonomy.Moral and spiritual education should also be provided with great emphasis on working for the development of Mother India.Teachers should be well trained.Vice Chancellor may be appointed from the state concerned transparently.

Lab should be made compulsory as in 21st century practical knowledge is more important than theory.Lab should constitute 60% of the total marks where passing marks should be 50% of the total lab marks.Lab assistant should be present in engineering colleges.ITI pass and Diploma pass should be made lab assistant. Our engineering students suffer from lack of training. So summer training should be made a part of syllabus from 2nd year in B.Tech.University should invite companies for training students.

State universities should be regularly checked by some central government authority whether they are satisfying all the rules which are made for them.Attendance should be set compulsory to at least 75% in case of local candidates and to 70% in case of hostellers.Technical universities should be divided into many parts in state like Uttar Pradesh etc.Only qualified faculties teach in technical courses like M.Tech done,B.Tech done and Diploma done teach B.Tech,Diploma and ITI student respectively.

There are 45 central universities in India an there is no difference between these universities and state universities operations but....... Central universities which are performing well are very strict to there rules and regulations for example mandatory attendance is 75% student must have to fill these for taking exam..... If not then will suffer lot.....this is very basic suggestion for all state university to be strict on mandatory attendence all things will fall in place itself.
