For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

National security - All along the border all over India up to 3-5 kms, army has to take charge to safe guard our people and our land. Jammu and Kashmir could be seperated as two states and Jammu could be on a democratic elected goverment. Kashmir could be taken over by army and utilised as training centre. Let us not cry for ceasefire violation and the army to be aggressive on any movement along LOC stating that we are only waging war on terror. K.R.Shankar

Dear Sir, Private Mobile network provider, Some times deduct money from our balance, when we discuss at call center for why deduct this charge. They told that some scheme activated by you. But scheme not activated by user. and money not refunded. This type system is only money making. And about Internet, Why its 2G, 3G rate so high? Using the internet we can reach you direct. I think out of 100 user 90 user use internet. can you provide them with low cost. My priority to BSNL network first.

Dear PM Sir, Today in INDIA Maximum mobile users use internet & call system. Many Service provider for mobile network like BSNL, Vodafone, Airtel, TATA, Idea etc. Why it call charge and internet charge so high. We could not use BSNL because its service not good. But I think why BSNL should not Given facility to user like other private network and low rate. so we can use BSNL Network and Internet. This benefit for INDIAN Government. Can we open maximum service center like other service center.

Sir, This is regarding the issue of ebola virus that is effecting mostly west africa what measures our health ministry is taking to stop it to enter our country as it is very serious issue world wide.What measures are taken by all airport officials to verify the people coming from infected areas.

People uses postal services in todays era also but through private courier companies because of only three core reasons: a. Reliability b. Accountability c . timely delivery [most important]. Post offices need to brand them as fast and safe delivery and all people need to work for their commitment. Being in government job people are not coming up with their 100% of output they salary need to be linked with output. thanks

Leveraging post office needs to be linked with banks and railway station as usual. Followings are the ideas: a. Put a automated tailor machine for general tickets and Platform tickets - Any one who so ever is going to see off their relatives they can purchase platform tickets from automated machine by themselves because standing in the waiting line is not possible. b. Task force need to be included with force with expertise area i.e.: Insurances , Fixed deposit and RD . c. Put some kiosk service

Respected Sir could u please take care about Education Loan. car loan 10% persional loan 12 % but EDUCATION LOAN 13.5 % . is it the future of students depend upon. if it is so then adopt a law to start the interest after completiin of studies.. how a student would pay money while studing and if there parents have money why they would take loan... please develop this to develop the future of india from a burden while studing... My advice. Interest should start after course complete. thank you
