For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

Respected P.M.sir, there are lot of opportunity of jobs in govt sector as well as in private & corporate sector also. In every field knowledge is required . If the candidate have good knowledge of his field then there is lot of jobs for him . Therefore, before creation of job opportunity concentrate on skill development through proper system. If we develop the skilled man power then jobs should come them automatically .Therefore, follow the proper method of skill development then job creation

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, आजकल हर तरफ स्वच्छ भारत की अलख जगी हुई है। इसके लिये लोगों ने जगह-जगह सफाई अभियान चला रखे हैं। मैं आपसे पूछती हूँ कि क्या साल में दो एक बार जगह-जगह झाड़ू लगाने से, पेड़-पौधे लगाने से हमारा पूरा देश साफ़ हो जायेगा? मेरा अपना मानना है-नहीं। देश को स्वच्छ ही करना है तो इसकी जड़ से , गहराई से सफाई करें। उसके लिये सर्वोत्तम औजार है- सच और ईमानदारी रूपी औजार। ईमानदार पुलिस विभाग, ईमानदार कोर्ट-कचहरी, ईमानदार जज, ईमानदार सरकारी विभाग .

Online shopping portals like Amazon, Jabong, Flipkart etc should be asked to use the Indian Postal services instead of private courier companies to deliver goods. This way we can create more jobs and more business for our postal services.

Open up post offices in hospitals, and othet public places. Give incentives to Postal staff who achieve speed of delivery and work beyond routine hours and on holidays.

PO have reciprocal arrangements with other countries posts. Create a bank account in respective countries where contributions can be made for National developments or relief causes. I don’t mind depositing $10 every month in a local account which does not incur bank charges living overseas. If not possible, make SBI open an account in countries and let Indian Embassies carry account number on websites

I give you ideas from post offices in Australia They are clean, uncluttered, leading to 10 counters through displayed items that can be bought. The services rendered are Collection of vehicle registration documents and fees for sale and transfer Police challans collection center All other payments for any work, licenses, electricity, water from utility companies Change of address to receive mail at new address for 3-6 months against payment No waiting time, No wonder making profits

Mai ek student hu dy patil school of engineering,pune,maharashtra ka.mai West Bengal se Maharashtra me padhne aya tha ye soch kar ki yaha jada job opportunity hai.but sabhi Maharashtrian professor local bachho ko hi support kerte hai.kya yehi hamara "Ek Bharat" hai.agar professors teachers and hrs dusre state se appoint kia jayenege to jo new generation ayegi wo apne up ko Indian bolegi ,na ki Maharashtrian,Bengali,Gujarati,Tamil,Telugu,etc.....tnank you all ..enjoy

The excellent network of post offices should be used for clean India Campaign. Postman may be entrusted with a camera and whenever he sees any place which is not clean in his areas he should be authorised to take picture and submit to appropriate authority for immediate action and incentivise the postman for such action. He also should have authority to take such action as may be deemed fit for repeat offenders. Postman is an important person in our rural fabric and should make use of him.
