For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

Post offices can be used for anyone or all of the following services based on viability :: rural banking thru financial inclusion, selling group insurance scheme, supply of antidotes for snake bites, conducting awareness on region/season specific modern agricultural methodologies through webinars in vernacular language, connectivity room for telemedicine, delivery of e-retailer shipments in remote villages, Automatic Teller Machines, centre for periodic communication from leaders, ….

post office in rural area can play a big role,i have following suggestion: 1. Location of PO: It can be positioned adjacent to primary/junior high school/colleges, so that it easily reachable to at least school going children at the same time parents can also utilize it effectively. 2. Postman: A postman can perform much efficiently. First of all he should be provided one bike along with wireless digital media, it can be anything Laptop/Tablet/smartphone with internet connectivity

remove Excise duty and VAT on prefabricated toilets to make them affordable to poor these taxes are 27 percent of the value of toilet

Mere vichar se education me anamat nahi honi chahiye. Admission lete samay sabako apane merit ke adhar par hi admission milana chahiye kyoki jo general me ate hai or unaka merit achchha hota hai lekin unaki jagah ST, SC wale le lete hai or general catagory wale ko admission nahi milata. Mera vichar hai ki sabako apani mahenat ka fal milana chahiye. Jo aisa hi raha to desh age nahi aa sakata kyoki desh me bina skill wale doctors, engineers peda hoge.

Respected PM, Provident Fund reforms Government should not be in the business of collecting money, maintaining the account, calculating interest. This is best done by bankers Here is the road map Govt should merge the PF scheme with PPF. PF scheme must continue but money should be credited to PPF account Ask all Nationalized banks to operate PPF accounts Deposit limits on PPF accounts must be scrapped I have a complete plan, not able to share due to 500 char limitation of posts

In India large amount of cows and bulls are slaughted .and we as a agriculture based economy facing big problem of rural development.as farmer sell their cattle's to slaughter and he is destroing our cows and bulls cruelly. For this govt must ban on slaughtering. Close all daughter house all over India.so that illeagle slaughtering of cow should stop.and anybody do this should be punished with law on this .make a special strict law for this. Cows and bulls must save for future generation.

Namaskar PM sir, Mera ek sujhav hai ki yadi hum log shadi ke invitation cards ki jagah SMS aur phone call se invite karein aur cards banane se lekar baantne tak ka jo bhi expanse aata ho use door kisi gareeb ki beti ki siksha aur bhavisya ke liye khurchh karein. Sirf is ek aise expanse ko bachakar jiski is HITECH jamaane mein shayad jaroorat nahin hai, kisi garib ki beti ka bhavisya banaya ja sakta hai.
