For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

We want to do something good as Indian Citizen. We want to live happy, honest & peaceful life, but today we face many problems like corruption, inflation, unemployment etc. We know that We need to change this system.We want to be a Super Power. So many problems arise to people on Road Blokes caused by whatever reason. Sometimes caused due to political issues and sometimes by the public on personal issue. But every time so many innocent people suffer from to many problems. Why it should not be restricted? I know people/political-parties have right to raise issue and to give his/their personal view, but is it the proper way which causes harm and create problems to others? I think it is subject to discuss. With Regards;

Respected sir I have seen lot of people suffering a lot . sons& daughter abusing hitting throwing them out of house , not giving them food &medicine. can we all together can do some thing for them . like who care their parents well got rebate in tax . get early promotion. insurance for old age some aids from MNC. because of better medical facility now age is increasing. some cheaper medicine if age is more. hospital bill shd be half after certain age . these r few things in my mind so

Hi, If we build hotels over railway platforms we can generate good amount of revenue for the railways. People travelling from trains then won't have to go anywhere for the search of hotels if we build hotel. We can have solar panels on the top of each coach of train for generation of electricity for coach.
