For delivering various Citizen centric services and furthering the reach of Financial Services including Insurance, the Government of India has set up a Task Force to examine and recommend efficient utilisation and upgradation of the Post Office Network, enabled with Digital/Internet Connectivity to rural Offices and outpost areas enabling reach of different services in rural areas. This Network is also being viewed as a distribution channel to retail various schemes and services of Central Government, State Government and Private Sector Players.

Through this discussion the Department of Posts (Ministry of Communications & Information Technology) seeks suggestions on the following:

•    To provide efficient postal network and points of presence [particularly in rural areas and small towns] to Central Government Ministries / Departments, State Governments [including Local Self Government] and private sector players for delivering various citizen-centric services, scheme, products to the people.
•    To further the role of Post Offices in Financial inclusion, including Insurance products
•    The infrastructure requirements of the Post Offices and the Postal Network
•    To make the Post Offices financially viable

Last date for sending your suggestions is 30th November, 2014.

First we need to keep dustbeen at every 50 meter location of cities or gaon..every body want clean near by area but no body want to keep pick or other dirty materials at in pocket or in bag

Start ECS payment of NSC, KVP etc postal scheme on maturity likewise FDs in bank. Otherwise start process of sending intimation of maturity. Concentrate on saving scheme in villages where their is no bank facility. Again I am requesting to improve normal postal delivery. Start taking telephone,electricity bills in villages.

This is regarding Begging in the streets of the City. This is nothing but a big business racket that everybody knows. They are hand in glove with police and politicians. Please ban Begging in streets immediately. This problem is nothing less than Swachata mission. I heard Begging is banned in Tamil Nadu. Why can it not be banned in Delhi and other places.

Post Offices are available in nook and corner of the country. To make it efficient we have to technologically improve it a lot - like creating Banking like facilities including ATMs. The will generate huge deposits in all existing schemes and also new schemes can be introduced. Delivery of ordinary Dak should be immediately improved. It takes days to reach its destination. People have absolutely lost faith in P.O.Young generations never go to POs. Make it attractive to draw huge investment

एक सल्ला : रुग्णालयामध्ये संडास व मुत्रालये इतकी वाईट स्थितीत असतात कि तिथे जायची इच्या होत नाही किंवा तीथे रुग्णांच्या नातेवाईकाना निवासाची व्यवस्था नसते. उपाय असा आहे कि रुग्णालयात संडास च्या सफाई ची व्यवस्था सुलभ सारख्या संस्थेला द्यावी व नाममात्र किराया घ्यावा आणि धर्मश्याला बनवून त्यांची देखरेख करण्याला एकाद्या संस्थेला ध्यावी व त्यांचे सुद्धा नाममात्र किराया रुग्णांच्या नातेवैकाकडून वसूल करावा. नाहीतरी मोठ्या बिमारया असणारे रुग्ण ग्रामीण भागातून जावून नागपूर सारख्या ठिकाणी किराची रूम करता

I don't know its right or wrong to write...if I done something wrong please forgive me...the thing is NBA is not going to the right way..Political leaders take money from contractor & contractor gives poor material for this. & another issue passport office take money from every person at the time of police verification..

आधार स्कीम मे पहले सरकार के कार्यकाल मे रेसिडेंट को रीसिप्त प्राप्त न होणे के कारण उन्हे आधार मिल नाही प रहा है ! इससे सरकार कि छबी खराब हो रही है ग्रामीण इलाके मे लोग त्रस्त है और अपने काल सेंटर पे जन्म तिथी, व पोस्टल कोड से जानकारी नही मिल रही है ! इसलिये या तो वेब साईट पर सर्च मे ऐसा पर्याय उपलब्ध हो या अपने काल सेंटर वाले लोगोंको बर्थ डेट से या पोस्टल कोड से जानकारी दे- इससे सरकार कि और लोगोंका देखणे का नजरिया बदलेगा धन्यवाद ! किशोर वाघाये, महाराष्ट्र भंडारा

Respected sir, I would like to suggest that we can use some of percent fund from all trust and mandir or masjid or gurudwara or jain temple. .etc...much of that money is dead..if gov will make some policy in constitution.like trut bond or etc..I think its very help full for over nation.

Do we need really post office in the way it is now? Make it integrated service center with email, money transfer, banking facility, JanDhan Yojana hub, Adhaar card center, and public service delivery center. Post office can be single window center for public service and SAMPARK centers

Till now Indian post office is one of the most face to face approachable network of individuals, which need to brushup further i.e required to make more smart, join direct / indirect all peoples with post office specially villages for all government benefits to individuals. All post office are intigrated some of banking features, need further extension to the village peoples for savings, easy loans (loans to be linked to banks- direct coordination of people to be with post ofice not with banks)
