Dear Sir,
Please initiate a program to have regular banking through Post Offices.
Let it work as common hub for Online Applications and Certificates.
Postal Services to be modernised and please implement 1) Pick-up from bulk customers 2) let post man carry inlands/stamps/post cards etc while he is out for delivery.
Any government communication should be through Post Office; only let it be outgoing or incoming
Staff should be appointed on the basis attitude not only on the basis of Merits

In my opinion we can update our postal network . Like we see now a days banks send there representatives for opening account at home in same way we can use this system for our post office for picking up parcels from home.with the help of customer service and information technology we can build network like courier service which will have its own pick up vehicle and one person who can go to particular address after getting call on demand.online booking can done for parcel and amount can be paid

Twice I have received Original Passport Copy of my parents from the Passport Authority of India wherein they sms me the Tracking number. But one thing found common in both the case was that though I received the Passport copy well in time but the portal still shows that the Passport has not been delivered.

India post web portals should be given to some private company to enhance its speed, tracking mechanism as well as it should be more informative and flawless. Like i got a parcel from Gurgaon to my destination the portal is showing it delivered on 27/09/14 while it is still not delivered to me.

There must be machines in post office like latter box which can electronically tag latter and give receipt and like ATM can cut charges from debit card. work load of post office may be decreased. Moreover, older person/unemployed/kids more than 9th class in the village/town can take responsibility to distribute letters. of their villages/town. will reduce postman work. or collection of letter from nearest post office after office hrs for every one.

I usually visit Post office for speed post many a times due to long que people prefer to send parcels by courier. Please start training sessions for post office officials so as to increase speed in their work and like ITI we can eastablish small institues where we can create task force for post.
