There are instances where MSMEs involved in industrial activities in villages face resistance from local residents over the issue of movement of workers and goods transportation etc.
Panchayats can support MSMEs in getting the issues resolved through mediation process on mutually agreed terms.
Industrial workers face difficulties in getting rooms on rent in villages. In such situations, panchayats can make labour housing complex on panchayat land. The workers would get good rooms with hygienic living conditions.
On the other hand, panchayats can earn good money as rent to finance other welfare projects of villages.

Panchayats are primarily supposed to improve the living condition of villages. They shall focus on activities such as village hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation, waste management, maintenance of streets and roads under their jurisdiction, drinking water, street lighting, rain water harvesting and rejuvenation of dead lakes and ponds etc.
As all these activities today are technology based, better and quicker results can be derived if services of MSMEs are taken who have technology and experience in these activities.
So, it would a mutually beneficial deal for panchayats and MSMEs.
Panchayats would achieve their goal of betterment of lives of villagers and MDMEs would get the support and business.

Panchayati Raj (Council of five officials) is the system of local self-government of villages in rural India as opposed to urban and suburban municipalities. It consists of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) through which the self-government of village s is realized.
The Panchayati Raj Institutions are the nodal point at the district level. Their role is to help plan, coordinate, monitor and wherever required regulate the implementation of various national programmes.
Empowering rural population to participate in rural development programs for improving their quality of life. Providing rural infrastructure and socio-economic growth opportunities for the poor people in rural areas. Accountable and efficient functions of Panchayat Raj Institutions.

Village Panchayat as there are some basic requirements for a healthy living, such as clean drinking water, cleaning and lighting of roads, medical facilities, primary education for children, roads for transport, etc.

People doing own business from their homes should be able to procure raw materials at a reasonable price through Government notified shops. This will help them to buy the raw materials and give quality products. Like Ration Shops every Panchayat should have a shops based on the products manufactured in their Zone. The manufacturers can buy the raw materials and sell their products in the same shop and it can be marketed to other places. This Point to Point Selling method will remove the middle man looting the money.
Government should take severe action on money lenders who charge exorbitant interest rates and do injustice to poor people. Many people suffer due to high interest rates. If the banks come forward to give loans to genuine business doers they will be able to get the needed loan easily and repay them. Bank should help such people to grow not to supress them. Local Self Help Group should be active in identifying the genuine people and help them.

Panchayats in Rural India and Municipalities in Urban area have funds required for the development of infrastructure and overall development of Society.MSME and Cottage industry can be given boost by them through finance, services, market, advertisement , They can purchase products from MSME and cottage industry for themselves, as sponsorers and increase sale for the development of MSME and Cottage Industry. People would follow them too. Go Vocal for Local and Local to Global should be the policy which would encourage 'Made In India' and 'Make in India' products. Government should uplift but common people should make it possible.
