One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

My innovative suggestion of productive usage of black money parked in country itself in form of Cash/Gold/ benami companies etc. Our focus should not be on terrorize the tax payers who has stashed excess profit/income to avoid huge 30% tax rate but to ensure that this money should be used for productive purposes in country.

Sir one idea if workable, writing novish as I am not good in economics. Can we do something like this , people whose yearly income more than 1 crore a year pays flat 10%, people with greater than or equal to 10 crores pays 20% , and super rich pays 30% flat as tax.People below 1 crore pay depending on income, for example 10 lakh bracket pays 2-3% , 50 lakh pays 5% , and >50 lakh

There is need to have IPR global standard keeping treaditional systems and legal framework in line to our WTO agreements. We should avoid accepting higher standards but always enhance the awareness on IP enforcement and commercialization. To protect the interest of domestic business players or small entrepreneur. There is time to have IP Promotion AMD Development activities to take lead in expprt and import revenues. Make provision of atleast 300 Cr in budget of 2016-17.

Indian Gov. Income tax department should give an account facility to all income tax payers wherein the details related to their tax payments, refunds & related calculations are shown as a service to the tax payer. This can be a facility clubbed with the taxpayers MyGov.in account too & should be linked to Aadhar too. This way the taxpayers can discuss any issues directly with the ITdept. Also such Government consolidated account similar to Socialsecurity accounts as in USA are needed fr Indians

Hi,Thanks a lot for the opportunity to say my few views. I find that we are paying taxes in all aspects of our life. Ie. from the moment we get our pay, to every transaction we do either to buy some thing or travel or get some service or any activity we are paying some taxes or the other. If you add up all the taxes collected by central govt / state Govt/ local bodies it about 60% or more. Even the savings which I do now will invite a tax when I take it out or annually.pl reduce this burden

India needs a strong International Financial Centre to compete with Singapore, Dubai etc. I Suggest to provide competitive tax regime to existing IFSC which would help India a globally competitive country.

In continuation of my earlier spending tax or indirect tax: Rental accomodation 2000 sqft 15%. Similarly per service based on spending the rates can be made progressive. After this is defined and all the transactions are mapped based on Aadhar based POS terminal, there should be no returns but just analytics used to find out if people are cheating the system by splitting up transaction and so on. Prosecution based on this analytics and fair process.
