One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

1. Further, a more advanced technology called NFC Cards[ Near Field Communication] may be used for transactions. Nowadays, many portable devices such as smartphones, androids have this [NFC] feature. If the central government makes it mandatory for all businessmen [ having an annual turnover of fifty lakh rupees or more] to facilitate transactions through NFC Cards, there would be substantial reduction in tax evasion and thereby demotivating generation of black money by the businessmen.

To promote usage of cards for payment at oil pumps fuel surcharge must be removed. cost must be less for usage of cards than cash to promote cashless economy. Card must be made compulsory in all pumps after removing fuel surcharge by all banks at any cost whey they want to eat our money why special fuel surcharge waiver for some oil companies and banks alone all must be cleared by govt for easier fuel refilling and provide accounting fraud by oil pump dealers and oil companies.

1. It must be made mandatory for all businessmen having an annual turnover of more than fifty lakhs to COMPULSORILY INSTALL A CARD SWAPING MACHINE at their shops and make all transactions through that machine only. This will not only reduce the cash carrying risk but also prevent tax evasion.

As we know that mostly the black money generated from property deals. And even buyer is ready to pay all the related taxes, they are forced to make transaction in cash and with very less price on paper of that property. If government do some steps and increase the circle rate, and decrease the tax rate on that, based on some ratio, this will be the win-win situation for all. Because government will get the same amount in tax. #TaxPolicy, #DepartmentofRevenue, #TaxAdministration, #MyGov #Emipro

Sir, The bank makes mistake and issues 16A with more interest income and shows TDS matching more income..Individual return is filed and bank withdraws part TDS with information to Taxpayer. After 2 years taxpayer learns about it when he gets notice fro IT dept. Why should bank get away and taxpayer pay higer I.Tax and penalty for wrong decleration of TDS. Request suggest remedy so that tax payer can get back excess tax paid on income which never was after bank making correction.
