Government is already collecting a lot of data of each individual through PAN card, if the same data is shared with the assessee informing that he has done the following transactions in the previous year, before filing of the returns than some part of the income which is skipped knowingly or unknowingly would also be included in the income, thereby reducing the cross check work of the department. Such information can be communicated in email or via link of the assessee login

#tax policy if govt want house for all till 2022 and black money issue will resolve then give a offer to ppl that declare black money on 10-15% tax and balance must invest in low cost housing scheme. benefit 1) approx 272 item involved in house hence all industry will run fast and economy supported. 2) govt will earn 15% at least tax on huge black money and again govt earn huge tax on housing activity 3) govt target will achieve automatically before 2022.

The accountability must be fixed on top bureaucrats. They donot want govt to be succeed in its noble intention & reduce litigation. If the govt succeed, their unrestricted powers will end alongwith rent seeking. This must be checked highhandedly. I can provide factual data of exercise of powers in both direct and indirect taxes, which may be very useful for success of PM's stated goal of tax payer friendly admn, make in India & start up India. For want of space the details cannot be given here.

non adversial tax administration will remain a dream of the government without actively involving bureaucrats in it which appears to be working at cross purpose of the stated loudable objective. En number of instances are available. Eg. 1. the way extension of income tax return was handled. CBDT bent upon to disrepute govt. 2. The way mindless orders are passed in direct & indirect taxes creating huge demands & wasting national resources in litigation.

#TaxPolicy Clarify that the entry paid arises from payable to settle the dispute on TDS disallowances. The composite book entry cannot defeat the original entry of exps a/c dr to creditor a/c and creditor a/c to cash/bank a/c merely because it takes place on the same day. This needs to be urged before the Courts in the meantime. Create slabs of 5%,15%,25% and 35%. Tax co operatives transactions with nominal, associate members.

#TaxPolicy Minimise indirect taxes as it is a harsh levy on the poorer classes. Rationalise capital gains tax on immovable properties by effecting TDS and treating it to be the tax like STT. Make conversion of agrl land into non agrl land liable for cap gains tax on TDS pattern. Make JDA registration mandatory and effect tax collection thereon. Introduce TCS on all gold purchases. Introduce window for 3 mths to bring in foreign assets with tax penalty and compounding fee.

Sir I only want to ask that how are you thinking about taking india ahead when the law makers in Parliament don't have to pay income tax despite of getting a good salary and a soldier who is guarding our borders with his life at stake every moment, he has to pay income tax and still their is shortage of equipment they should get in order to minimize the casualties.

Government should have tax deduction at source for the people who are investing in share market. Government should take this seriously and built a solid tax policy for this sector.
