One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

Whenever any foreign entity opens a company in India. A special investigations takes place under Indian Customs which is know as Special Valuation Branch. This is a extremely lengthy, complicated process and time consuming process & tool to harass & discourage foreign companies to start business in India. It increases corruption in India. Please abolish this SVB (Special Branch Of Indian Customs) for the success of "MAKE IN INDIA" & for "EASE OF DOING BUSINESS". TRANSFER PRICING is there.

By increasing STT on shares if Capital gain on shares can be tax free. Then on one side people will invest more in the market and on the other side black money will also be less.

#TaxAdministration The tax agent systems and their clients should be periodically checked as most of the time the people who are helped by professional agents/advisers are easily escaping without paying the tax. So these professional systems and their income should be examined and fined at first to increase the tax collection I think.

Hon FM sir another important area where you have concentrate is the increasing the TAX base. I is ashamed to see the % of tax payers out of 130 crores population. Really FM sir it is the failure of your IT department. Now what the IT depat is doing they penalizing the people who are already in the Tax Net in the form of scrutiny calling all these that information and the people who are outside the TAx net is laughing on them. I am sure they will also be caught one day but when and how.
