Currently there is tax exemption for interest amount upto Rs. 150000 on home loans for firt time buyers. But there is no cap on it when person buys second home. This tax policy is helping more to wealthy individuals and builders. I feel there should be tax exemption only for first time buyers and no exemption to be provided for second time buyers or at least keep a cap of Rs. 150000 irrespective of whether it's first or subsequent home.

This year, we all expect upto Rs.5 lac there should be no tax, though returns could be submitted, above 10 lac an increase of 2% may be made to offset the loss. Doctors, professions etc., could be made to pay legitimate tax by giving receipts. Service tax on common man's needs should be abolished say mobile recharge etc. The common man should benefit from budget exercise and he should have few money left in his pocket. The benefits of import bill on petrol is not passed on to middle class

Pls make a clear explanation of tax laws with use case examples. Every CA or Tax consultant interprets the laws on their own.The ministry should explain it in plain and simple language such that a common man understands it.
