Welcome this idea. Online Booking and runtime scheduling should be consumer friendly easy to use and accurate.
We need to make sure the increased waterways usase does not affect the marine ecosystem.
There are very good research is being done globally on using wind to generate electricity which can be used simultaneously by the shop like in hybrid vehicles.these systems must be considered for use.
Weather forecasting has to be accurate and ferry scheduling should be updated accordingly and in case if the trip is cancelled due to weather conditions what alternative can be provided.
If creek area is used please consider locks system to avoid salt water and river water exchange. safety issues and provision for lifeguards emergency support systems should be given prime importance

Dear Chair person, the water way transport in our nation is very minimum, so its best idea to use our costal area for that purpose so that large amount of cargo can be transmitted in very low cost, and passenger carrier also good option and tourism development is also a sideline factor and can be developed and costal security will be also more efficient because more monitoring the costal area and government should issue proper guidelines for water ways every true citizens are eagerly waiting for implementation

This is one of the cost effective program and our Sagar Mala project. It will give the passengers the experience of journey on sea. We have inland water services to several places but not along the costal belt. Our citizens will have an alternative transport route to travel. It is also environment friendly if it is operate by solar power.

This idea is very good , an out of box thinking. This should have come a long time back. However I would further suggest introducing ferry services for cargo and also for passengers along the coastal waterways as Indian Bay of Bengal coast lane is very lengthy and it will also provide an alternate mode of transport for the Cargo and as well as public. This would go a long way for the growth of the Indian Economy

Though a good idea, this may be detrimental to traditional fishermen. the vessels should be solar powered.
