The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, under the Sagarmala Programme, intends to create an ecosystem for the development of Ro-Ro (Roll-on, Roll-off) ferries and waterway transportation throughout the nation. When compared to traditional modes of transportation, this method of transportation offers a number of advantages, including shorter travel distances, cheaper logistics, and less pollution.

The draft guidelines aim to standardise and streamline the development and operation of ferry services, as well as, promote ease of doing business by reducing delays and conflicts, Additionally, guidelines will aid in boosting private players' confidence, hence expanding their involvement and encouraging healthy competition in such ventures.

The draft of Guidelines for Operationalization of Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax ferry service along the coast of India is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

जहाँ तक देश में परिवहन के साधनों का प्रश्न है तो सबसे अधिक सड़क परिवहन का हिस्सा 55% प्रतिशत है, रेलवे माल ढुलाई का 35% प्रतिशत वहन करती है। यातायात का सबसे सस्ता माध्यम होने के बावजूद  जल मार्ग से केवल 5-6%  परिवहन होता है, जबकि अन्य देशों में जलमार्गों और तटीय परिवहन की हिस्सेदारी लगभग 30% से अधिक है।

Use of Ro-Ro ferry service to speed up process of bridge construction throughout the country.Setting up coast or port based large manufacturing facilities for mass production with all modern equipments to build concrete bridge spans to the best design, assemble type to reduce length & weight,pre-stressed, highest quality. What is important is standardized spans for both road and railways. Also railway RCC slippers. These can reduce road movements of steel,cement & other materials.Quick lead time for projects on a reasonably big radius from coast line. The idea is to reach the destination through sea in small ships or barges. Even steel fabricated bridge spans or beams could be moved & placed with overhead beam or portable equipment . It's a concept to improve project time with ready quality pre fabricated items for taking advantage of energy requirements in transport through waterways. May need more thought process in making it successful.

माननीय पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी साहेबांना नमस्कार मी गणेश सोपानराव इंगोले मुक्काम पोस्ट बुद्रुक तालुका मानोरा जिल्हा वाशिम महाराष्ट्र राज्याचा रहिवासी असून भूमी व बे घर आहे परंतु परंतु प्रशासनाने मला पंतप्रधान आवास योजना ग्रामीण मध्ये सॉफ्टवेअर सिस्टम प्रणालीच्या नावावर माझ्या नावे पक्क घर असल्याचे दाखवून मला पंतप्रधान आवास ग्रामीण योजनेतून वगळले हा माझ्यावर सरळ सरळ अन्याय आहे बद्दल मी तालुका प्रशासन जिल्हा प्रशासन आणि मुख्य मुख्यमंत्री सचिव यांना वारंवार तक्रारी करू नये काही फायदा झाला नाही माझ्याकडे फक्त खाली जागेचा आठ नमुना आहे लक्ष देऊन मला घरकुल लागला मिळून

ফেরি নৌপথে কি ভাল মনে হবে যদি পর্যটনের সাজসজ্জার দৃষ্টিকোণ মানে আউটলেট দেখানো হবে আর প্রাচীন মানব সভ্যতার জ্ঞান সমুদ্রের গভীরতা সমুদ্রের রাস্তায় এটি আসলে যাত্রা !

ferry waterways means live in nature attach with nature - so what r cn be use from nature in good perspectives not consumption sun water air(wind) salt water- moisturiser night mode - coolness cold & calmness cn anything bring in new as energy form definitely if work accordingly ya may be there is small kind flower pot or else plant stands ets untill not did it ,do it now now we having technology

this ferry waterways will it be seems good if tourism decoration point of view means outlet will be shown r ancient human civilization knowledge depth of sea in sea roads it's journey actually u know so in journey captured moment memorable may it will take couple of days if everything ready available with technology by research not by typical but informative & information should be converted in2 knowledge u know it's a grassroot means 2 say - sea land/floor

use card system like Delhi metro or use token system for booking purposes and delegate the day-to-day operation to private company.
