Inviting Suggestions on Draft India Data Accessibility & Use Policy 2022

The draft India Data Accessibility and Use Policy was published on MeitY website on February 21, 2022. Since its publication, MeitY has been receiving several comments and suggestions on the draft policy. It’s also observed that there is a need to bring in some more clarity with regard to some of the clauses in the draft policy so that the objectives of the Data Accessibility policy to enable better services is made amply clear. These clauses will be finalized after getting inputs of stakeholders in the consultation process Accordingly the draft policy document for consultations is being shared here.

समंक संरक्षण नीति न केवल आंकड़ों की सुरक्षा के लिए आवश्यक है बल्कि विधायी कार्यों में पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही तय करने में भी उपयोगी है। प्रशासन को चाहिए कि समूचे नियंत्रण के साथ व्यक्ति विशेष की वैयक्तिक स्वतंत्रता के साथ साथ देश और समाज के हित मे कार्य संपादित करे।

Dear Sir A data policy contains a set of rules, principles, and guidelines that provide a framework for different areas of data management throughout the enterprise, including but not limited to data governance, data quality, and data architecture. A data governance policy formally outlines how data processing and management should be carried out to ensure organizational data is accurate, accessible, consistent and protected. Data protection policy is a type of security policy that aims to design, implement, guide, monitor and manage security over an organization's data. It primarily aims at securing and protecting logical data stored, consumed.
