Its very difficult to avoid taking cars or using vehicles in a place which has got hot weather.Especially in places like Chennai,as the temperature soars the AC cars become like a luxury for all the officer goers etc...What people would expect is efficient public transport...Mini buses which were used to dropping people at their doorstep is an option.More buses to be introduced...To avoid using vehicles, people should be motivated to reach their nearby destinations by walk...

yes, this is one of the good idea by our honorable prime minister modi ji in order to control pollution and as well as reduce imports.we all have to think about this issue and create awareness among our society ,peers and people around us.one day in a week should be set as an green day where people leave all their private vehicles and use public transport. If this is implemented in our nation then our dream will be definitely achieved in a very short span.

to motivate the masses to avoid petrol or diesel use for one day in a week we can suggest them to do works by walking, using bicycle because government must stop the functioning of filling petrol or diesel for that all over the country by this not only people who want to develop india will stop using fuels but also people who are not interested also definitely follows and will also understand the efforts of indian government.

In Schools and Colleges, a programme could be organized as " Environment Day" such that on that particular day ie, once in every week such as Friday or Saturday , students staying near by localities must avoid Petrol/Diesel usage. There can be kept bus passes or any system where signature of traffic or any authority, must be there whenever they get into bus so as to make sure that they have not used vehicles. Any student regularly follows this rule without fail could be given Grades.

Use the latest technology to change the road size during the peak traffic hours.Suppose in the morning the traffic will be more towards city
and in the evening it is other way.So if we can increase atleast one line there will be huge impact.
This will greatly save the time and fuel.
