I would call this platform "Kagaaz", since it's main goal should be to not have the common man be given the run around by unscrupulous government officials by saying "yeh kagaaz lekar aao". Also, a very simple advertising/marketing campaign can be built around this phrase that will be understood by all. Regarding the documents that should be digitized apart from the most obvious ones, like birth records, are the land records, 7/12 showing the demarcation of property... contd.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life.
Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.

Contd/- Third is industrial units, which also be given a ID number and data Digitized.
In my earlier messages, I think, I stressed need of Aadhaar like number for SAARC countries, at least Nepal, Bhutan and Srilanka. It will go along way in managing disasters. Indian living in these countries must be registered. A number of Indian nations also died in the Nepal Disaster, but how to provide relief to their families in India. national of these countries living in India also needed to be counted.

Digital uploading will fall in various categories :1. People-allow corrections,if any, integrate with Aadhaar &/or National Population Data. 2. Land records- again divided in two parts Residential & Agricultural land with sarkari land in Roads, Rivers etc. Give a unique ID to these entities. Let there be Door to door survey in Municipal and Gramin Area. MCD has not done assessment of properties in its area, I think for more than 20 years or the wards & numbering has changed. Authentication must.

Sir, before you digitize and upload bulk documents, bringing them to a common platform is a must. The current documents be taken as authentic and uploaded and upload in reverse direction. all documents need to be in English or regional language. Old British era records are in Urdu, must be translated to English. Most of the Birth & Death records, say in Haryana, are in Urdu. Old birth documents do not have mothers' name. allow it now. Same way name corrections etc.

All the Public servant records should be digitized and make available their certain records in public and domain for review e.g. All Academic certificate, Cost certificate an character certificate for exiting as well as new appointment before joining. This will encourage right people in the Govt. departments. This will help in dealing with corruption with joint responsibility of public and Govt.

We have just acquired http://www.docs.co.in . We'd love to decelop an app which can digitize the essentials docs of all indian citizens and have a layer of convenience built on top of it. Feel free to get in touch and incubate us and we will take care of the rest :) .. look forward to serve the country and build a web 3 social enterprise play.

The Paper work in court needs to be digitalized all over India atleast in High Courts. This will play a major role in reducing the use of Paper in courts. As the amount of papers used for filing in courts is the maximum as compared to any other place. Also if this documentation is digitalized compulsorily then it will make space in courts which are in terrible state due to papers lying all around the premises.

Consolidation of all public identification records will be my top priority for Digitization viz. Aadhaar , UAN, EPFO, Voter Id, Passport , PAN, Driving License to begin with. Make this consolidated data available to ALL central/state e-Gov agencies for e-verification facilitation.
