Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

same process will be done at every step of his life like he is going for applying driving licence, there department will take his biometric again his all identification will come automatically. here he can't tell lie about his age his education etc. even he can't tell lie about how many classed he has passed because his school has already linked all of his academics records to his aadhar card.

Actually we should analyze the life style of a man. when a human takes birth his biometric can be taken that time only and seeded in aadhar system, he/she will be enrolled that time only. by this step you have taken a human in your aadhar sytem and his id is aadhar id. after that whereever he goes like for admission in school, school will take his any of the biometric as identification instead of asking aadhar no. aadhar no will automatically come by biometric.

While giving AADHAAR card all information is taken. Hand prints, eye retina etc. This information can be used in many sectors for example while travelling through bus it would not be necessary to collect ticket we can apply our thumb on bio matrix type machine then amount can be deducted from our Jan Dhan account.Voting on some issues also can be taken by making the groups and before accessing the group person can apply his thumb to access it so that.

I Think we should have a policy like one man one mobile and it must have linked to aadhar card. even i think we should have one mobile & one bank a/c also. and our bank a/c should have portability facility. if some one wants to change his bank service provider, he should be allowed to change without changing his a/c number.

In order to integrate mobile phones and all other IDs with aadhar card, first government should have to make the aadhar card process foolproof just like the passport process.

To make India a 'Digital India', first initiative that could be taken is to build an all-in-one portal system through which every citizen of India can put a request for legal IDs like DL, Passport, Voter Id, Aadhar and this portal should be properly maintained unlike the existing ones and side by side these services should be available via mobile phones because in order to reach to every single citizen, mobile is the best way. Almost every individual possesses mobile phone.
