Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

For Development of our country (India) Few strict decisions are needed 1. Control Population ( 2kids compulsory for every family otherwise has to loose every Gov. support) 2. Stop Reservation in CASTE basis rather keep reservation for POOR for all Caste (Brahmin and General Caste people are not against Govt enemy) 3. At least one member of every family should get Govt. Job to minimize the difference between rich and poor (reservation in recruitmentt should be accordingly)

During my trip to USA in 2009, I saw 1 prominent reason, among many others, on what makes this nation a superpower. And it was that I could see ONLY 1 flag wherever we went - the fluttering Stars & Stripes ! And it was EVERYWHERE. Every minute, every mile you are reminded that you are in the US ! From that day, I have been dreaming of a "Ek dhwaj Ek Rashtra" for my India ! I should only see my tricolour and NO OTHER flag (saffron, blue, greed, etc.) in my country. Let us work towards this.

I fully agree with the concept of linking mobile number with Aadhaar number. But we shall need one more level of security just like additional four digits which are printed on the back of any credit card to be punched in case of verification. These digits should be remembered by every individual since the mobile number is in circulation already. Since the mobiles can be clowned and misused thus it can not be only relied upon. To strengthen the security these four digits can be Alpha-Numeric.

the govt. has today provided for electronic filling of all revenue returns. yet in case of any enquiry inspectors ask for personnel appearance. leading to corruption and time wastage. all information can be sought and obtained electronically. minimizing the need for personnel interaction. and saving paper also
