Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

Hello friends, The dream for digital India is itself contains large number of other dreams inside it. Our Govt. should have to think of digitization of many Govt. public services like scheduling a strict deadline for every job/ tasks. Exceeding the deadline, should have to make penalty to concerned employees/ department. Everything will have to be public on the respective concerned department portal. This will be very helpful in executing the jobs in the schedule time & without corruption.

I think if we want to make india a fully digital country then we should focus on villages and less develop cities, because to be a fully digital country every one should have internet connection...

412001 Complaint as per customer he applied for aadhar seeding on 14012015 but till the date it is not linked with bank.....and he got msg of linking of aadhar with bank,,,,, 22-Jan-2015 No Bank confirms that Aadhaar seeding done but still Aadhaar seeding pending Delhi NEW

I think companies sim card distribution should be changed...bcoz they are heptly distributed which should be avoided....and as divyang said adhaar should be linked..

In the quest for digital India a scheme like "One Patient One Record" where only one record is preserved per individual and it can be utilized by all hospitals,clinics to diagnose patient in a quick manner. Also, this will help save insurance money by avoiding unnecessary tests and scans also govt transferring money scheme like arogyashree will be very effective

Hello Respected Prime minister, With the help of this portal I would like to draw your attention towards the speeches given by "akbaruddin owaisi" in past recent months.He has cleanly said abusing words about our god rama, and threatened india's national integration.He also said give me a gun in place of mic and people of india will witness the scariest blood battle ever. I also tried to contact home ministry but coudnt get any response.It is a matter of national security plz address.

Mobile service providers like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, BSNL etc. should collect Aadhaar card numbers of their customers respectively and link them with mobile numbers of their customers.
