Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

DIGITAL INDIA- is a good mission towards the nations development. Firstly we need education to live in a digital environment. 1. Computer and Information Technology should be compulsory in school education system. 2.Special IT educational programs in regional languages for the people of rural area. ........ It could be possible if we walk one step with the govt. Govt make the plan, policy and mission, provide in fractures, But we have to take the responsibilities to teach the illiteracy people

Idea is Good. But before that we must check mobile numbers data. Because there are several states and small towns where anybody can get mobile number without any ID proof. My idea is that we must have atleast one person from each family should be digitally literate. He/She must have good knowledge of computers so that he can update the data either link with any of services provided through government.

Digital India is a great initiative, but government should also look in to the TRAI regulations which are a problem for the customers, I think demolition of STD will go a long way. The plethora of rules about on-net and off-net calls which gets in to creating of voice infrastructure for companies should also be looked in to, we can get away with these. Telecom operators can earn alternatively by offering combined data/voice services

Encouraging state governments to also raise resources.- An attractive scheme for conversion of idle gold into cash that will monetise the idle gold into investible resources. - Undertaking an aggressive programme to raise domestic savings.- FDI with majority stake in sectors identified under ‘Make in India’.There is plenty of money in the system both in India and abroad. All we need to do is to encourage it to come forward and have it invested through appropriate avenues.
