Each NRI should propagate their state/district places of tourist interest and take initiation to send that country citizens

My experience is that foreigners avoid visiting India reading about safety issues. If we sort this issue out and promote tourism, people will automatically get attracted...Embassies with the help of NRIs can probably celebrate indian festivals outside India, organize cultural or social gatherings and henceforth, provide the platform for promoting tourism. And like they play colors in Amsterdam, which is quite popular, why not celebrate particular festival in particular city outside India!!

If you want to really increase tourism in India, make the image of the country as safe. This includes curbing the cases of Rapes and crimes on foreigners. Here, people think of India as a country where rapes are usual and tourists are not safe, as media is showing the cases here daily.

NRIs can be brand INDIA ambassadors in countries they live. They can talk to their friends/colleagues/neighbours what India has to offer as a tourist destination like its heritage, culture, cuisine, nature's beauty, adventure sports, and so on. And all this at a fraction of cost to other tourist places in the world. Indian Railway is the cheapest and best way to explore India. Indian embassies should organise Know India program at least 3-4 times just before holidays to promote tourism.

I think the best way of promoting tourism is through "Information Centers" which can act as a catalyst for local tourism, we have always seen a confusion in peoples mind while driving past a town city as to what is this famous for. Information Centers can act as a tourism hubs and can provide employment and business activities, The Information centers can be funded by the local hotels and tourist spots with some major funding from State Governments who are keen in getting tourism.

Govt of India can introduce Multi Level Marketing (MLM)concept to various NRI communities/groups in different countries to promote " Incredible India : Tourism of India" where role of each NRI /NRI group will be as a MLM agent/distributor to spread" WELCOME INDIA TOURISM " concept to fellow Non-NRI Citizen there exponentially ; Obviously, there should be some nominal incentives(monetary/non monetary) like MLM agent/distributors.

Government of India should promote NRI bodies who are performing cultural events abroad and consulates should participate in the those programs to let audience know about Indian Government tourism plans that would encourage tourists for destination India...

The NRIs can tell the foreign friends the beauty of India . NRIs can create a interest among the foreigners to visit India . In India there must be a organization for assisting the foreign tourists . The organization must keep the foreign tourists safe and guide them . Higher rates for tourists must be implemented whose nation's currency at good condition , example : American tourists .
