INDIA NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT USHERING 2 SHIFTS IN SCHOOLS! LAND IS VERY SCARCE WHILE AVAILABLE SCHOOLS ARE TOO LESS. HOWEVER, TO ENSURE QUALITY - SCHOOLS WITHOUT GOOD PLAYGROUNDS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. COMPULSORY 2 SHIFTS WOULD SOLVE BIG SCARCITY & ALSO ENSURE GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE. SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES HAVE PROVED THAT LESSER No. OF SCHOOL-HOURS DOES NOT ADVERSELY AFFECT QUALITY OF EDUCATION. SO, 5 HOUR SHIFTS ARE OK & THERE COULD BE 1 HOUR GAP BETWEEN SHIFTS FOR SMOOTH FUNCTIONING.

QUALITY EDU IS A MIRAGE IN INDIA! TEACHERS SHOULD NOT GO TO NEXT LESSON UNLESS ALL CHILDREN MASTER CURRENT LESSON. CURRICULUM STANDARDS ARE UNNECESSARY TOO HIGH FOR WEAK URBAN & MANY RURAL STUDENTS. THIS HAS TO CHANGE URGENTLY. NATION REQUIRES LITERATE CITIZENS AS WELL AS SCIENTISTS, DOCTORS, OFFICERS, MANAGERS etc. NO NEED TO TORTURE ALL CHILDREN WITH HIGH STANDARDS OF SCIENCE & MATHS IN CLASS 8-10. OPTIONS TO TAKE OTHER SUBJECTS SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS WANTING TO STUDY IN ARTS STREAM.

No doubt, govt. of India is taking action regarding education especially girls. but the problem is to implement the scheme with proper way and 2nd one to take proper action regarding the drawbacks after implication and to check out that the programme is doing well or not for the purpose it was announced ...................

If a girl child educates,she educates a generation,but it is a sad part,now a days girls education is very critical, they have been exploited and harassed either by their teachers,staffs, or opposite genders,so safety and security in the classes are required.It can be possible through lady teachers appointment,separate class room, special lady care taker for girl child and many more initiatives.Thanks and Regards.Archana Kanungo.

By increasing minimum marriage age of a girl from 18 to 20 will give her chance to study till graduation and that would be a big achievement of our nation.
