We should use the already available online content to give access to best and latest education material to our students.
There are sites like khanacademy & coursera which we can use:
https://www.khanacademy.org/
https://www.coursera.org/
This can be complemented with schemes such as "Aadhar Tablet" or similar ones being run by Central/State Governments.
If this can be done, we are in position to partially bypass our constraints : Extensive Infrastructure, Best Teachers.

Competitive board and other results are out.
Students are now struggling, confused in choosing the stream.
They need proper counselling so that they can choose stream of their choice.
Students also have no idea about scholarships which are awarded on merit basis.
Seeing all this situation and also have gone through this situation, today I would like to share an plan which will resolve various problem.
A country can succeed in any sector via education only.

It can be started with offline content at first, and then move to the online based content at later stages based on the need. Some downloaded content or CBTs can be good starting points. Appropriate pedagogical methods are also needed to be adopted while deploying ICT based content.

But care should be taken when the students are exposed to the course content from Internet. This is required because so much harmful content is also available on the Internet, and it is easy for the children of that age to get distracted towards that. So, proper guidance should be offered to them, and appropriate monitoring also may be needed in some cases. Firewalls, Safe-modes or some DNS based filtering techniques etc., can also be thought of, to keep the students away from harmful content.

In fact, lot of useful free e-content is already available on the Internet. So, it can be useful if some directory services can be started, that list out the URL pages that are useful to various levels of students. There should be multiple URL pages listed for each topic, and short descriptions can be provided about the content available at those URLs. So a student can choose a link of his choice based on his class of study and level of understanding. This can save lot of time spent on searching

Making use of ICT in education can help to explain many complex concepts also with ease. It is possible due to the visualization power of it using multimedia techniques. So care should be taken to present the content appropriately using images, animation and other methods. Dumping lot of text content to the devices, and asking the students to go through it can not serve the purpose.
