We talk about policies of globalization , inter cultural relationship, over all development. For all this need we need to have a educational structure with best educational policies,by giving the freedom to choose a 3rd language they want to study. Why a child has to wait till graduation to study foreign language, when we can provide them this wonderful opportunity at school level. It's the need of an hour.

India is a growing nation. It has extended its wings into almost every possible sector one can think of. May it be science and technology, Sports, the Arts or Literature.. There is nothing a child can not do. And to be able to explore one's true potential, it becomes absolutely imperative to have choices They should be allowed to choose what 3rd language they wish to learn. Learning a foreign language provides them with better career options within the country and out in the world as well.

The way Indian students learn certain courses apart from their academic qualifications, they should learn an extra foreign language as well as it is always an added advantage. The students those who have the intention of pursuing their higher studies abroad learning extra language pays. It minimizes the cultural gaps arising due to miscommunication and promotes effective cross cultural communication and relations.

Learning another language opens up new opportunities and gives you perspectives that you might never have encountered otherwise. Personal, professional and social considerations all point to the advantages of learning foreign languages.A choice should be given to the students instead of making any language compulsory. Let them decide what they want.

India can be a democracy in its true sense only when we start at the grass-root level giving our future generation, the students, a right to choose, starting with the choice of languages they wish to learn. We Indians need to be open-minded about this!Let us allow the learners to choose a foreign language which will bring in exciting opportunities into their lives.

Studying Sanskrit should not be a compulsion, rather students should be free to decide whether they want to study any foreign language or not.

India has always been known for its inclusive and holistic education policies/ systems. And the Government itself launched this group with an objective-"to formulate a New Education Policy for the country through an inclusive, participatory and holistic approach". Let this objective be mirrored in the government policies with regard to promotion of languages by giving the Learners a choice- a choicelearn whichever language they want to- foriegn or indian.

we live in increaseingly globalized world and companies are constantly expanding overseas. The person who is bilingual and know foreign language are more likely to get better job oppurtunities.learning a foreign language gives u oppurtunity to learn new people and their culture.you build multitasking skills.students should have choice to learn language of their choice and not forcing them to study hindi or sanskrit.by making one language compulsory is not the solution.student should get choice.
