Wherever there is a request from the students wanting to learn another language, teachers can be appointed and they may be allowed to learn that language. This also helps in achieving better national integration. For example,Telugu students wanting to learn Telugu or Sanskrit in Pune is possible now but this not possible in other regions.

Children should be able to learn Indian/foreign languages of their choice at their school. A Language Centre at every school! Can start with a few languages initially.

It is to be also ensured that the habit of reading is promoted in this regard. To develop expertise in a particular language, reading is the best way. But many schools do not have a full time librarian. Many schools spend the library hour in their schedule by just letting students on the ground to play. Full time librarians should be appointed in each school. To develop the linguistic capavilities of the students, books in the particular language should be made available in the libraries.
