When teaching Indian languages, students must be taught counting in that language as well. When we were taught Hindi we never learnt counting.

In Karnataka, I observed one good thing. In their education system, they give preference to Mother Tongue and same time, they teach the all other South Indian languages. The same way, each state should give importance to their regional language and teach the students other languages which are surrounding the state. When they need to work in the neighbouring state, language is not a hurdle for them.

There should be no political interference in education system. Only educationists have to play major role in the policy-making. There is lots of differences in the geographical areas with-in a state. The Policy should cover all the areas and problems with useful solutions. Basing on the local needs, from class 10 each should be trained in any one of the job skill interested. Government should combine ITI with High school system. Curriculum should teach the student to solve daily life situation

First of all Remove English Medium in the Primary stage. Dont give permission to school who want to their Medium of instruction as English in the primary stage. Dont teach the things for marks / exams, teach them for livelihood. As of now, the education system is bound to marks, exams and grades. First of all make Education out from these boundaries. There should be healthy competition between students and institutions. Changes need to be made in the complete system.

Don't teach something that is useless. Teaching German is a completely foolish step by previous government. Teach Foreign Languages based on following criteria. 1) The language must be widely spoken across the world - eg. Spanish 2) The native speakers of those languages shouldn't be fluent in English. eg. Mandarin, French 3) India must be having good business and cultural ties with that country. eg. Japanese Don't waste government's Money and Student's time that is useless in life.

It is the need of the hour that the students are taught to develop essential traits mainly like Patience, Tolerance, Moral Education and respect towards Indian Culture. Also the course on Indian Culture must be framed through a Committee including members from all states of the Country so that a student reading such developed text develops respect towards and knowledge of all the parts of the nation.

It is important that Hindi is promoted throughout India as the identity of the country. It should be made compulsory to study Hindi irrespective of the Board, though it must be made only qualifying for the states like Tamilnadu which have resisted its mandatory use. Further a Commission may be appointed having members from the Field of Hindi Literature, Industries, Scientific Community, Non Hindi-Speaking states and Trade Unions etc to popularize restructure Hindi and education in Hindi Medium.

In addition to Indian languages, it is important to include foreign languages as well in school curriculum so that it improves chances of students performing and competing at global levels irrespective of field.

Native languages are door to culture, social & philosophy. Languages are so important for each child to communicate, express and spread ones thoughts. Education must groom children towards Physical, Mental and Social health. Yoga, excercises, meditation and community work should be part of the education system. Education must teach human values and enable children to become better individuals, participating family members, responsible citizens, helpful community members and thoughful leaders.
