With globalization and liberalization of Indian Economy in last two decades, numerous domestic and international companies have been drawn to investing in new modes of business/ business models targeted at the huge domestic market especially in the consumer goods & services. Direct Selling is one of these modes where goods /services are sold directly by the producer/service provider to the consumers. For this different models such as Multi Level/Network marketing, Door to Door Selling, Online Selling, Tele-shopping are being used. These practices are new and different from traditional retail through shops. In the absence of a proper regulatory framework, retail through these models leads to consumer grievances, trader’s issues, slow growth of the sector etc.

The aim of this discussion is to deliberate and evolve views of all stakeholders for providing a regulatory framework to the sector.

First of all "JAGO GRAHAK JAGO" ki jagah agar "FARGI COMPANY SO JAO" ka nara de toh jyada sahi rahega. India ek esa desh hai jo sab kacha maal duniya ko deke bewkuf banta hai.Yeh toh problem hai solution kya hai iske mai btata hu 1. Koi bhi company agar vigyapan mai koi dava ya vada jaise (gaurantte/wareenty/paisa wapas/sone ka sikka/pao inam) karti hai toh us company ko website/news paper/television main se kisi ek madhyam ke jariye btana hoga ki uska procedure kya hai.

Jab bhi koi consumer koi saman purchase karta hai say mobile. Aur uske 3-4 days k baad hi koi prob nikal jata hai to wo shopkeeper k pas jata hai and waha usko bola jata hai ki aap service center jao phir usko mahino tak service centre ka chakkar lagana parta hai. Aapko nahi lagta ki ye situation us consumer k liye kitni harassment wali hai i want u to please amend CPA 1986 to include such provision that if the product develop a defect with in 10days then willl me immidiately be exchanged new

Direct Selling is best as it provides Quality Products at reasonable cheaper cost as compared to Traditional Markets. Direct Selling Companies even Help New & Young Entrepreneurs to do Business under its Network, Gives Training & Skill Development to make them perfect without taking much consideration for Capital or the like factors. Yes some Regulation may be needed to protect Consumers from some fraudulent Companies.
