Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

I think that firstly aware the people's about E waste , give them proper knowledge and start this from a village like to big city. because in villages and small towns public awareness is very low about all this .. At each tehsil level make gathering of all the E waste from villages that the tehsil includes and then use them properly by advising some engineers or more knowledgeable persons about the E waste .. By taking proper action on E waste by engineers the E waste can be reuse also in many different ways , ideas as per their knowledge and Country's wellfare ...

For this we should also add this types of skill development class to every level students in there institutions, because the students only creators for our next generation.

Computers were getting outdated very fast ,and old computers were of no use ,causing losses to consumers ,and anxiety to manufacturers that there bulk production may get outdated and hence not saleable ,same goes with mobiles and other goods and there parts ,as such the root cause is to invent such technology and parts such that its parts can be used in new edition also with different outward look ,also in our developing country we need startup for outdated such equipment ,which with concessions from govt and less buy back rate can be sold at rural or backward or poor or welfare institutes instead of electronic waste and total loss

Look at mobiles of 1996. It used to be almost of the size and weight of a brick. Despite being of this size, it was just a mobile telephone with almost no features which are available in today's mobile phones. Today's mobile phones are no longer just a mobile phone. They are mobile machines with so much potential that every day some new features and utilities are added. Their weights are reducing day by day and are becoming much energy efficient and consume much lesser power so that batteries long laster. Mobiles can be said to be Sustainable Electronic products of today.
