Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Today, I watched an episode on Shark Tank where a daughter-mother duo is a super talented entrepreneur. They run their business under the brand name "Scrap-Shala". They have unique ideas for creating new innovative things "made from waste" and promoting the work of their artisans around the world. People like him promote innovative ideas to save our mother earth and save our blue planet from plastic pollution.

Design of an  intelligent  and  efficient light control  system: This project uses a PIR sensor and an LDR for efficient use of the lighting system. This system considers two factors, One is the light intensity of the room, while the second one is the presence of anyone in the room. The light intensity of the room is measured by the LDR sensor, while the Human presence is measured by the PIR sensor. Accordingly   the lights are switched on and off
