While India has committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2070 as part of its increased focus on ESG practices, various industries such as Logistics, Automobiles, Manufacturing, etc. will expect this budget to provide subsidies, incentives, tax benefits, and the use of more renewable resources for achieving its climate goals.
Providing tax incentives for capital or operational expenditure related to expansion, increasing capacity utilization, and utilizing new technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
As a potential global slowdown could impact various sectors including the IT sector, the industry will be seeking certain soaps from this budget.
Increased focus on programs to grow employment opportunities, especially for the IT sector, which is currently facing severe issues in terms of hiring and retention.

Budget should provide tax reliefs and incentives, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as well as start-ups, and to ease compliance requirements. The government should provide more funding for Research & Development and infrastructure development, which can help companies become more competitive and improve their operational efficiency.

It is critical now for logistics demand-side policies to increase consumer demand, such as purchase subsidies, feebates, interest subvention, scrappage incentives, zero-emissions zones, and fleet purchase requirements. Supply-side policies need to encourage traditional Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to innovate and startups to enter zero emission transmission manufacturing such as OEM credit schemes, sustainable production targets, air quality regulations, and fuel efficiency standards that promote alternative fuel technologies and improve air quality. Additional incentives such as favourable financing for trucker’s community to buy green commercial vehicles will also add to the attractiveness of the sector.

As the logistics sector develops, we hope the government will look into incentivisation of R&D for the latest alternative fuels – battery-electric, compressed natural gas (CNG), flex fuel, hydrogen fuel cell, fuel efficiency, among others, with relevant charging infra – and technologies like AI, ML, Big Data, GPS, safe driving – that can create employment opportunities, a better standard of living and ease of doing business for all stakeholders in the Indian logistics sector.

In India, using conventional trucks to meet growing demand would require spending over $1 trillion cumulatively on crude oil imports for diesel production by 2050. Zero-emission transmission vehicles are the clear-cut solution to all these problems and more. By reducing both air pollution and costs, these vehicles can directly enhance industrial competitiveness. This will require synchronised efforts from private and public sector players to increase the manufacturing supply and deliver the much-needed charging infrastructure to support this emerging green vehicle ecosystem.
Policymakers should implement targeted incentives that can spur demand for commercial alternative fuel technologies and their adoption. By coordinating joint efforts, the government can help industry players transfer risk, reduce costs, and seed the nascent alternative fuel / zero emission vehicles market to harmonise demand and supply driving market scale.

My suggestion is one nation one aadhaar card for all services.. no extra card needed for this one aadhar one nation card. depending up on the ABPL, BPL (below poverty line). the aadhaar card color coding to be done. Like rich peoples aadhaar card should have color of pink. and below poverty line peoples should have aadhar card color of white code.
like ration card type white and pink color code should be applicable to aadhaar card also.. and with this color code we can estimate who are rich? who are poor? white color code aadhaar card peoples are eligible to all state and central govt. schemes, pink color aadhaar card holders are eligible as per tax they tax limit. this is my suggestion of color coding of aadhaar cards
