The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

Not only live streaming, provide an ERP and online solution for all judicial proceedings.1) Reduce need for physical courts. Only in such cases where it is inevitable, it should be allowed. 2) Re-engineer and simplify the process reducing the need for advocates. Simple cases requiring only verification of documents, to be disposed off on online uploading of documents and so 3) Online portals where everything related to specific cases including its recorded hearings to be uploaded for future ref.

court function is business of serious concern. Having personal information and litigations live streaming is unwarranted. accountibility is in built in Judges of higher courts. it shall not be doubted. court business is not for appeasement and playing to galleries.

Modiji,When justice denied citizen from people or authority wish to approach court for justice through a Lawyer, fee demand of experienced Lawyer is brain shocking experience for a common man forced to sign Vakalatnama is informed by his huge Advance fee payment to step into Hon.Court with case records one lawyer demand his advance fee from Rs.10,000/-another 20,000 or25,000 or lakhs.To get copy of judgment lawyer ask 3000/- &above.How middle class afford this.I request strict law to fix rate

Draft Rules released by the Supreme Court e-Committee on Monday for live-streaming and recording court proceedings propose a 10-minute delay in transmission and exclusion of communally sensitive cases and matters that involve sexual offences and gender violence against women.

#suggestion 11 If live streaming on youtube then display quality can be adjusted as per data speed available . Otherwise must have option to set quality for smooth streaming. Infact option of only sound must also be available. IT WOLUD BE AN INNOVATIVE IDEA TO HAVE OPTION TO POST MAX TWO COMMENTS PER #KYC ID for public participation. Atleast for public interest cases even #voting option to be there. SB

Live streaming ka vichar aacha hai but hame eske bare me aour sochna chaiye ki kon si judgement me eska upyog karna hai aour kisme nhi. Kyonki abhi bhi dur -Draz elako me Internet ki pahunch nhi hai sath hi ham cyber security ke ghere me aa sakta hain. And hamari piracy khatre me aa shakti hai Kyonki abhi bhi log apni biodata batane me jhijhakte hai aise me ham sahi judgement tak pahunch banane me dikkat .
