Certain roads shall be made vehicle-free.
Arterial roads shall be made wide so that buses can ply even to the cornerest part of the city. Smart buses with wifi and display of next stop and destination should be put on roads.
No overcrowded buses. In case it is overcrowded then the conductor shall be fined.
Mangalore central and junction railway station should have airport level security checking and should be developed to world class station. Need more direct trains.

Build flyovers and subways wherever needed to ease traffic movement.
Industrial waste has to be treated in the respective industries premises.
Waste collected in bins should be segregated and recycled to the utmost level possible.
Waste water shall be treated and can be reused in industries. This will reduce unnecessary wastage of fresh water.
People who pet animals should get a special license with pet details from the corporation. This will help the govt. To keep an eye on stray animals.

All circles in the city should reflect the city’s culture.
Need more direct flights to domestic and International destinations.
Metro rail connectivity from Mangalore city to Udupi and Ullal.
Installing CCTV cameras throughout the city.
Mangalore police SOS app a must in all smart-phones.
Police should patrol the city during nights in bikes and cars.
Daily security checks at all entry points leading to the city and Industrial city.

Creating “MANGALORE INDUSTRIAL CITY” outside the city.
Moving hazardous industries far away from MANGALORE CITY.
Making Mangalore as the next Global I.T. Hub by attracting investments and setting up I.T. Parks.
Improving the education and teaching methods to international standards.
Children should be compulsorily taught in schools and colleges at least one art form of Mangalore.
Yakshagana style welcome arch in all entrances of the city.

Separate vegetable and meat markets.
Develop nearby islands, beaches, temples into tourist hot spot.
Develop Kasab bengre on lines with Australia’s Gold Coast.
Attracting lots of investment in tourism sector.
Providing many adventurous gaming spots.
Investment in water sports.
Re-planning or restructuring central market buildings.

Radium signboards with emergency numbers and the areas corporator’s number.
Hygienic drinking water facility in public areas.
Pay and use toilets in public areas.
Separate market for road-side vendors in central market.
E-governance through website and mobile apps.
There should be cartoon arts drawn on the school walls to indicate that there is a school ahead.
Water, electricity and other government related payments to be made online.

When the traffic signal shows RED the gates similar like railway level crossing shall be put near zebra crossing so that the pedestrians can cross safely. Mainly near the schools to ensure the school children cross safely.
Wide main roads with lane system.
No bus stands near traffic signals and separate bus bays should be provided on main roads.
Multi-storey smart vehicle parking building in populated areas.

The roads of the city shall be free of vehicles during working days from 8.00 A.M, to 6.00P.M. All the citizens shall use only public transport and cycles to go to and fro. Vehicles can be used only in case of emergency.
Good pedestrian walks on main roads with barricades in between road and footpath. Pedestrians are allowed to cross only on zebra crossing and sky-walks.

Smart dust bins throughout the city. Once it is full it will alert the garbage collectors to clean the bin and the garbage has to be compulsorily cleaned daily and the current door to door garbage collection should be continued.
Plant useful and flowering trees on the road sides and flowering plants in the dividers of the main road. Plants and trees planted in residential area shall be maintained by the residents and those on the main roads by the city corporation.

Solar street lights throughout the city, this will make the road wireless to some extent.
Residents, business centres and government buildigd, hospitals ,parks, bus stands and railway stations should compulsorily put solar panels in their houses.this will reduce the use of electricity and instead there are chances of surplus electricity
