Separate underground tunnels for water pipeline ,telephone and cable wires with chambers with computerized door lock at every 100 meters throughout the city to repair the technical glitches if any. This will prevent frequent digging of roads. Rain water harvesting in all the buildings (both Government and private). Hi-tech bus-stands in Bejai , Pumpwell and Statebank and shifting KSRTC bus stand outside city limits. Asphalting roads made by recycling plastics.

If we are able to keep religion, politics and corruption at bay, definitely we can transform banking and educational hub Mangaluru into a smart city. Kudla has been blessed with international airport, sea port, high literacy rate, variety of tourist spots & great cultural history. The soil of Mangaluru has given birth to many great personalities like Ullala Rani Abbakka and Karnad Sadashiva Rao

Mangaluru smart city nagaronka badshah...!! It would be a very nice idea to transform a port city like Mangaluru into a smart city. Usually a port city depicts high economical stature and by transforming Mangaluru into a smart city, we can prove that even Mangaluru is an economically fit city and it can develop at the same pace as port cities abroad.
