The city should be expanded rather than constructing within the heart of city, this will not only expand the city but also will reduce the traffic and availability will be increased. The waste management should be done during the night time. The heritage temples and places should be improved or we'll maintained to seek tourist attention. Actions against moral policing should be done. The city boundary should be expanded such a way that it should be very well planned like a society or a colony.

My vision for Mangaluru is simple – to develop, upgrade/modernise and maintain all the existing systems. Expedite all the big projects around Mangaluru funded by State & Central Government with consistent meetings and follow up as a priority. Bureaucrats and elected representatives must be trained in Township planning. A detailed Master Plan for next 10 years must be prepared for Mangaluru city development in consultation with industry experts and execute them in a time bound manner.

Irrespective of the number of apts in a complex, a green area for a garden with plants like neem, rain water harvesting and minimum solar panel for power generation (subsidy to be provided upfront on installation) should be made mandatory.

Run a Full fledged 'Teach Mangalore Campaign'. Let every educated individual educate an uneducated person. Let is be a unbreakable cycle. Student populations is max in the city. One gentle push in the right direction and nudges every now and then from the people in power and responsible leaders, the dream can turn into reality.

1.) Work on what we already got. Mangalore has amazing temples and beaches and tourist attractions.Improvise on the same.Tourism will naturally pool in a lot of income of the city. 2.)However what is more important is to put an end to Moral policing because until that is not done no amount of the government or common man inputs/actions/measures are going to fruitful. Govt should first take strict measures to condemn such actions asap.
