The govt should set up factories to build solar panels , solar cells , solar interlocks . And should do the required installation at their own cost . There are few countries in the world who are manufacturing . Instead of importing we would be self sustaining by having a manufacturing hub for every state at desired location . This will ensure every city a clean and green energy .

Mangalore being a port has to be modernized to catch up on nearby port Cochin. Since Karnataka is a big state and having its own full fledged port will speed up buisness. Karnataka also has poor road infrastructure so improving roads connecting to Mangalore is equally important.

how about having solar panels in roofs of all the houses and having rain water harvesting systems in those who dont have solar panels.Planting trees in every area for example if a person buys land for constructing house,30percent of that area should be plants and all.

Power/ Energy: clean and green energy
We can replace footpath with solar panel based material rather than concrete interlocks. Installing power grids at every block to receive, store and transfer this to the electricity board that then be distributed. #SmartCity #Mangaluru #MyGov #GreenEnergy #SolarEnergy

Contd... Power available with the govt can be utilised to serve public places ...
Have an intense research on reducing the size of the solar cells and its storage . The main idea over here is the the solar power energy should be available at affordable prices ... Like other commodities .
