#MyGov: #smartcity should be free from energy crisis. And we we are experiencing it now . All the infrastructure that the #smartcity should have, Will start from electricity. Instead of building a thermal nuclear hydro power plant that produces energy but also destroys nature which ultimately destroys the ecosystem . so i suggest #Mangalore to be green and to have CONCENTRATED SOLAR PANELS with multi axial solar tracking for solar energy which is 30% more efficient than the flat solar panels.

1.)cycling tracks, footpaths and better organised public transport to decongest the roads. 2.)Better handling of municipal wastes, with the possibility of harnessing energy from biowastes collected. 3.)Planting of grass everywhere on unpaved surfaces in the city, this will beautify the city as well as reduce dust and control soil erosion during rains. 4.)Beautification of run down buildings along major roads in the city.(especially in the milagres-RTO area).

#Mangaluru #SmartCity Harvest the great rainfall and tidal energy to power the city. Incentivise solar energy utility. Create separate box chambers under footpath for all public eutilities. Relocate the airport and conserve the green ghats. Create lungspaces which can double up as solid waste management centres. Collect green refuse and provide to rural areas as organic manure.

All apartment complexes should have source sorting of garbage in the building. Stop paying the garbage collection companies for more weight. 80% of wet garbage, that should be composted at the building. 20% of dry garbage should then be transported and sorted; recycled etc. All commercial buildings should have composting compulsory. Only dry garbage will be collected.
