Any consumer movement can be successful only with the whole-hearted participation by the consumers. All the citizens of the country are consumers in one way or the other. The citizens, therefore, is expected to be pro-active in identifying misleading advertisement, suggest effective measures to tackle such advertisements and are also expected to offer out of the box ideas so that the movement against misleading advertisement can really picks up the desired momentum.

Suggestions are invited regarding action that citizen can take against Misleading Advertisements.

I read a news article that GAIL is not getting contractors to build LNG gas ships required to transfer gas from USA.As the contract requires ship to be built in India.We do not have to build the whole ship in India but we can build the most technically advanced components in India and Ship them for assembly in Korea. This way we can get the technology to build ships in future and GAIL will get the ships it needs now.I am an expert on LNG ships and currently based in Korea.

Sir, there is a need that every citizen should know about consumer rights & related laws so that they might not be fooled by misleading advertisements

में शुरू से MY Gov से जुड़ा हुआ हूँ और अभी तक 34 पोस्ट डाल चूका हूँ किन्तु अफ़सोस कि कोई रिजल्ट नहीं मिल रहा , कही ऐसा तो नहीं कि मोदी जी ने अपने चमचों को ये झुनझुना पकड़ा दिया हो और हम सब टाइम पास ही कर रहे हें . अगर इस MY GOV के माध्यम से हमारे विचार / सुझाव मोदी जी तक पहुँच रहे हे तो कोई तो सिग्नल मिलना चाहिए ? सभी मेरे जैसे नहीं होंगे में तो एक्सट्रीम निठल्ला हु इसलिए चिंता नहीं लेकिन मोदी जी pl अन्य को तो रिप्लाई देवे , देश में बातें करने के सिवा भी बहुत कुछ हे आपके करने को ....जवाब दें

an independent authority like LOKPAL should be nominated to handle these type of misleading ads. and also the certification process should be reviewed.
