To stop the corruption in railway reservation, counter ticket should be closed and e-ticket license should be increased.

Rly Cash Card like Petrocard/metro rail, may be issued for purchasing Rly tickets/booking on counter /online to have cash less transaction/no problem of Small coin, may be recharged online Bkg,will generate Intt free funds to Rly.

EliminateTouts/corruptions in RlyReservation ticket: 50% seat of Tatkal may be given via Auction/Bidding of tickets of metro/state capital stations initialy.Bidding may be done twice a day 8amto9am for trains Dept after 12noon &8pmto9pm for Dept after 12midnight,base price will be tatkal cost.

Just like airlines tickets can b booked in any offices located railway express & elite train tickets should have offices everywhere (mallls extra)

Tickets booking services should b available in post office without charging fees

Railway dept should monitor those machines (ticket punching & smart card) which are already in place bcs most of d machines r not in working conditions & bcs of that most ppl have to stand in line

IRCTC is not working in morning 10:00 a.m to 12:00 noon then how could common people can get there tatkal tickets?????

To make effective ticketing two months before reservation is the best.in this rail budget very good but a lot problem for defence persons as they can not plan leave so early and they will be affected badly. They will not get reservation. My request to government to make reservations two months only.gov must do someThing to reduce wait list in reservation.

To stop malpractices(black ticketing, commissioning)in reservation: The reservation form must ask for ID no. of the applicant.(ID can be Voter ID/Aadhaar card/ passport no/bank ac no./ driving licence no.). One of the persons (of a group)applying for reservation must enter his ID no. The same ID he/she should carry while travelling and the same ID no. should be there on the chart that The Ticket Collector carries. "wait-list NOT cleared after chart prepared":- Chart is prepared Hrs before the train arrival(in some case it is 5 hrs before),wait-list remain as it is.NO RECORD OF CANCELLATION DURING THAT PERIOD.My suggestion is "AFTER CHART IS PREPARED WAIT-LIST SHOULD BE CLEARED BY sending SMS". It should not be left only on the TTE. In this electronic era is if very much possible. i hope it will be done very soon.
