more fluidity required in this system.Still if i want to have a tatkal ticket from metro cities specially Delhi then these dalals and railway officials come into play.A guy standing in the line for hours for ticket is a sufferer. Why is that so.Some thing has to done for it.Some strict rules should be applied so that cheats have nothing to do with 'how to get a ticket' play

Indian Railways lack International Standards as per IRIS, the body for setting those standards. Also our railway sector is in shortage of 2 lakh crores to complete already existing projects.

Sir, Today is railways budget, all the best to you and to us also, we want clean trains, in which we get better toilets, better seats and clean railway stations with better facilities now railway is in a very bad condition as neither its clean nor the services provided does justice to the money given so we hope this time we will get a good budget which will improvise the trains & stations

Sir my for most view for achieving the efficiency in Indian railways is to done away with departmentalization. It results into a lot of duplication along with interdepartmental friction.

i have an idea to make it more better by starting a system like "pre booking open, order and payment system". i am explaining this here by exaple : i need to book ticket of dated 14/06/2015 as on dated 14/02/2015 but as per railway rules i cant book ticket above 60 days.i expect that rule and want to leave a pre-order to railway for book my ticket automaticly as ticket for That date opened.

Sir, the ticketting system must be made such that it delivers the ticket with 5 or more luggage stickers with it, the passenger sticks these stickers or copies of it with the PNR on their luggage and other details printed on it which can be checked by the ticket checker or the platform staff thus thefts in the trains can be avoided to some extent

If this experiment is successful, all Rajdhani, Shatabdi trains should be run by private players in future. This way good service can be ensured for the passengers. Railway will also benefit as several of its headache and corruption can be curtailed. Also it will be profitable to railway. Mr. Prabhu should think about this as out of box idea.
