Railways should restrict Each Train distance to 750 kms.Janatha trains should be run for short distances ie.,300km or less instead of from one end to another end of the nation.

entire ticketing system of indian railways, except for those who due to computer illiteracy cannot operate an ATM machine, should be converted to e-ticketing by machines. rail employees released from this routine work should be deployed in passenger safety, train safety and unmanned rail crossings. like in army, several lakhs of rail employees are deployed in routine type of jobs, which can be done by computers and they can be transferred to only such types of jobs requiring human judgment

Please aap seat booking ke liye "BOOK MY SHOW" jaisi ek "php" tyaar kijiye jiske upar log khud apni seat or apni train ka coach chun sakte hain. Please meri is baat par dhyaan dijiye is say Railway ko Seat Allotment mein bahut hi fayda hoga.

There needs to be an app to buy tickets without going to the counter for day time travel. The time lost is incredible and resources are wasted. the app can be checked by the tte to ensure ticketless travel is avoided

In an earlier post I suggested that for a change this year's railway budget may not announce new trains. I however find that J&K state is not directly connected with Chandigarh which is UT and also capital of two States.Can a couple of trains already plying between Jammu andDelhi/New Delhi be routed via Dasuya /Hoshiarpur or via Jalandhar/Ropar etc to Chandigarh and then to Ambala to chug along its rest of existing route? Please have it examined Stations and tracks exist already.
