irctc is working well and god. but ticketing in the system needs more ticket issuers. the passengers are suffering due to single officer at issuing tickets and the placing the ticket counter should be within the railway station. in many places it is outside the station hence the passengers cant able to get the train after getting the ticket

i have an idea to make it more better by starting a system like "pre booking open,order and payment system". i am explaining this here by exaple : i need to book ticket of dated 14/06/2015 as on dated 14/02/2015 but as per railway rules i cant book ticket above 60 days.i expect that rule and want to leave a pre-order to railway for book my ticket automaticly as ticket for That date opened.

it is really good, but it is not having the facility of BLANK PAPER TICKET, one has to visit nearest reservation centre for booking a BLANK PAPER TICKET, some thing should be done to solve this problem

The usage of cloud system has increased multifold in the last couple of years. I wonder why the rly booking system cant be hosted on cloud - all the servers to be hosted on cloud so that the instances of errors in ticket booking is negligible. I recently tried booking a tatkal ticket and tried 3 times - all 3 times, the amount was debited from my bank(2 times) and my credit card(1 time), but the ticket was not booked. I believe that upgradation to cloud will resolve these bandwidth constraints.

Railway provides certain number of passes to its employees. But never seen any TTE marking entry in these passes as utilised and the holders travels for unlimited time & distance on one pass. that means railway is loosing huge money without even getting credit for it from employees. On objecting on the issue with TTE, all railway employees along with TTE travelling in the compartment started arguing " who are u to ask". Plan to control it.

IRCTC should launch its own app and why charge extra for online booking when it saves Railways cost in shape of less man hour requirements and saving stationary rather online booking should be promoted if possible even unreserved tickets should be available online may be with printouts. It can save a lot of money

one thing is that tickets should be issued to the passengers when they board train i mean after boarding the tickets should be issued even though normal counter should be running and more number of people who give tickets should be increased

In the case of Mr.Akash Jain, Indian Railways has admitted that it is possible for a person booking 60 days ahead to get a142 W/L. What else could be the reason for this, than more commuters and lesser number of trains running in busy routes. Hope Railways will ensure the non occurrence if such incidence by running more trains in busy routes by laying more tracks. Railways will not have any difficulty in doing this as they are holding excess land in their possession. See enclosed photo.
