The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Thank you very much for listening to the saga of the Udgam School fee hike and helping the parents. I also read the post from the PMO on FB saying we ought to ask the school if our kids are safe there. I do ask the school, but we need some backing from the government in form of some benchmarks and regulatory authority that sets stringent standards. Thank you once more....

For efficient Regulatory Structure, we need to have well defined scope and goal, risk analysis done, structured well to define each stage, realistic monetary and budgetary controls and above all transparency. In mining sector, provisions are to be made to understand the productivity and cost attained from production and consumption. A right balance and transparency would reduce corruption and help attain better governance. Independent audits and check on each public servant's income is essential

we should first scrap all the scrap collected outside the Police station & where ever the possibility to generate the money with the available resources, then to use that money for beautification of that premises. we should do the Physical verification for the assets of the Govt & get it inspected by the 3rd party to have clarity on the age of the asset to make the best use of the asset. we want to create a mobile application which will create a spider web type interface to come in loop & help.

Regulating structure should be time bound, realistic, simple& must be based on current as well as future requirements of the mining industry for development of requisite skill and it should be benchmark with other countries/ industries structure to find gaps & to improve further in addition to that participation from various agency is very much needed to establish a right mechanism for sustainability and for encourage people in a big way as they are living very tough life.

Dear Prime Minister , I cannot find a group suitable so sharing this idea in post, Seeing that diesel and petrol is deregulated and we keep seeing the changes why shouldn't the food commodities have a govt calculated freight slab for wholesale and retail. So Food commodities will have floating rate which will go up and down depending upon fuel prices which will also affect the MRP. So while the Fuel goes down the MRP goes down while the prices up an upper ceiling can be calculated.
